be me

A friend told me a great thing she read in a book called The Happiness Project, by Gretchen Rubin.

The author discovered a simple strategy: when in doubt she would tell herself, "Be Gretchen." I am going to try that this year. Because I know my true heart when I stop to listen to what it is saying, what is gently whispers or what already knows.

Be me.

We all know "ME", when we stop to listen. Not answering to anyone else's expectations or demands or the "should" dialogue or negative voices in your head. Life can get stressful, complicated, and busy. When happiness feels far away, try to stop and remind yourself, "Be me."
